Abiding Forever

Website & internal analytics

Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026

This policy explains how Abiding Forever handles information through abidingforever.com and Abiding Forever Analytics, our internal reporting app. The app is intended only for the owner’s authorized business accounts; it is not a public sign-up service.

1. Information we handle

Website activity. The site uses Google Analytics to understand visits and interest in our music. Information can include pages visited, referring websites, visit times, approximate location, device and browser information, cookie identifiers, and interactions such as viewing song artwork or clicking a music link. The analytics tag currently loads when a page opens, subject to your browser settings.

Technical information. Hosting, security, and font providers may receive information needed to deliver the site, such as your IP address, requested page, and browser information. The site uses Cloudflare-backed hosting and Google Fonts.

Correspondence. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

2. Pinterest and connected-account analytics

Abiding Forever Analytics is being prepared for Pinterest API review. This policy does not mean API access has been approved or activated.

Once authorized, the app is intended to read the owner’s account and Pin performance, such as impressions, saves, outbound clicks, and available video metrics, together with the identifiers needed to associate results with our content. Authorization takes place through Pinterest. The app does not request Pinterest passwords or access other people’s accounts without authorization.

The requested Pinterest use is reporting only. It does not include publishing Pins, managing advertisements, sending messages, or collecting private messages or individual viewer profiles.

We will retain only analytics information that Pinterest permits us to store. Other API information will be retrieved when needed rather than retained, unless Pinterest expressly permits storage. Account connections and data use remain subject to the relevant platform’s permissions and policies.

3. How information is used and shared

We use information to operate and protect the site, respond to correspondence, understand campaign performance, and improve how listeners discover Abiding Forever’s music.

Google Analytics processes website measurement data. Google Drive and Google Sheets support internal report storage. ChatGPT may assist with campaign summaries where the data source permits that use. Pinterest API data will not be sent to an external AI service unless Pinterest’s applicable permissions and terms allow it. We do not use Pinterest data to train, fine-tune, or develop AI models.

We do not sell personal information. We do not sell or license Pinterest API information to third parties. Providers process information as needed to deliver their services, subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.

The website’s public visitor dashboard displays aggregate statistics, including visitor counts and country or city totals. Internal connected-account reports are intended for the account owner, not public publication. Aggregate statistics do not identify individual visitors by name.

4. Cookies, external links, and other services

Google Analytics may set or read cookies and similar identifiers. You can control cookies through your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Blocking cookies alone may not prevent every type of measurement.

Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Music and social links may take you to services such as Hypeddit, Spotify, YouTube, or Pinterest. Their own privacy policies govern activity on their sites; see also Pinterest’s Privacy Policy.

5. Retention and security

We keep information only as needed for the purposes described here, subject to platform restrictions and applicable legal requirements. Measurement history is also governed by the relevant provider’s retention settings. We review deletion requests and remove information we control when required; providers may retain backup or security records under their own policies.

Internal reports and connection credentials are intended to remain access-restricted. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information, but no online service can guarantee complete security. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries.

6. Your choices and requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Email us to make a request or raise a concern. We may need to verify the request before acting.

The account owner can revoke an app’s authorization through the connected platform’s account settings and request deletion of stored app data by email. Revocation stops future authorized collection; it does not by itself erase earlier reports. Requests to remove information held directly by another platform should also be directed to that platform.

7. Children and policy changes

Our internal analytics app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and address it.

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
